Anastasia Woolmer

After completing an Advanced Diploma of Dance at the Australian Ballet School Anastasia

began her first professional years working with the Queensland Ballet. She then moved to Europe and worked with the Graz Opera Ballet before joining the Norwegian National Ballet where she danced both principal and soloist roles.

Following this Anastasia worked for Sweden’s Gothenburg Opera Ballet, performing works by contemporary choreographers Jiri Kylian, William Forsythe, Jacopo Godani,Tero Saarinen and Ohad Naharin.

Returning to Australia Anastasia joined The Australian Dance Theatre and danced in works by Gary Stewart including Birdbrain, Held and the Age Of Unbeauty.

Her contemporary dance workshops include the contemporary choreographic process along with how dancers can better create and remember choreography.

Anastasia is also a two time Australian Memory Champion, public speaker and memory expert and coach. She regularly appears on TV and radio as a topic expert and was a contestant on Australian Survivor.
