Patricia Rotondaro

Patricia Rotondaro was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she studied classical ballet,

Graham and contemporary dance. After finishing high school, she moved to Europe and trained at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Germany. Subsequently, she obtained a bachelor's degree in Dance and Choreography from the S.N.D.O inAmsterdam, Netherlands.

She has worked professionally with companies such as Meekers (Netherlands), the Lucerne Theatre, the Bern Theatre, the St. Gallen Theatre (Switzerland), and the Anton Lachky Dance Company (Belgium).

As a freelance dancer, she has collaborated with Linda Magnifico, Teresa Rotemberg/Company Mafalda, the Cathy Sharp Dance Ensemble, Jochen Heckman, and JoachimSchloemer. She has toured Brazil, Colombia, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Spain,England, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Germany.

Patricia is one of the four contemporary dance teachers in the Bachelor in

Contemporary Dance at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and since the 2025/2026 academic year, she is the program coordinator for the Bachelor in

Contemporary Dance, Zürich (ZHdK)

This will be Patricia’s first time at the BICDPRIX and we look forward to welcoming her to Australia
